Figured out how to get it more uncovered - and seems these are solely for stability and keeping the seat cover in place but not so sure what they are "supposed" to connect to (doest seem like anything) to avoid them pressing through the foam and upholstery. Might try and zip tie them through...

Thanks - will check on that tomorrow! Did a smoke test (or tried?) and didnt get any spots worth noting as it related to the vacuum hose. Another post suggested a vacuum gun to better narrow down potential points of failure, so have that in the back of my mind as well. We shall see how it goes
