98 SE 105,000. Have the window sticker too. Don't care if it struggles on hills. Was a DD for first 7 years. Sat for 7. Now has small lift, bigger tires and still struggles up the hills. Could care less. It's a TJ. Fits right in with an old dog and good woman.

great info and shared expertise. But a question: My build sheet for 98 TJ SE says 4.11 gear ratio. I always see 4.10. Why? In any event I assume I just go with the 4.10 for this but still wonder about the ratio delta

Good thread/idea. Was thinking Rugged Ridge plate and light duty winch 5000? 9000?. Somewhere there's a thread on towing which had shackle front mounts included with the bar (Reese) that mounted where the two front bumper pads are. Could have recovery and towing utility. Anyone have experience...

CA and NV require aux brakes over 1500lb? Brake buddy at $800 gives pause. Other solutions?
