Why would I need to get a new one cut if you’re telling me to use the original key?

The actual key is silver, the part that connects to the wrong is black is that’s what you mean.

Silly question…how do you get it re-keyed? I figure a locksmith, but it sounds like getting it rekeyed to match the original would be super expensive

I have a feeling this will stop the clunking. I’m thinking that because my sway bar pours down by about 20-25 degrees I get a clink because when it gets pushed up it essentially pushes back and up because of the angle. We shall see Thanks for all the help

Just bought the JKS for 2.5inch - 6inch lift. Recently purchased the Jeep and I’m told it has 2 inch spacers but the track bar is facing down quick a bit. I think the extra 2.5inch from the link will get it just above parallel. Thanks.

Can a lower angle cause knocking?

I put them in about 5K miles ago. I’m going to be greasing everything today and see how that goes. I have a knocking/popping that is driving me crazy. I’m also going to check and see if they need to be tightened.

I did some searching online for axle shafts and saw one. I live in Hawaii so I can be challenging at times to get things here so I have to look at all options for vendors. So I just need to confirm the ring bolts are all 3/8 I assume

Well I’m officially stumped. It just doesn’t make any sense. Replaced: front u joints Upper/lower ball joints Shocks Upper/lower control arms front/rear All tie rod ends Sway bar links Track bar Pitman arm Upper/lower steering shaft Steering gearbox.

Turns out it IS the steering shaft. Fairly certain it's the upper but I'm going to replace both just to be sure. Thoughts on brands?

Having the replace both upper and lower (intermediate) steering shafts. There are lot of brands out there. OEM Mopar is out of the question due to availability and cost. I was going to purchase Borgeson, but I'm reading they don't bolt on the same way as OEM. Thoughts?
