For Sale: Savvy Adj. CA's, Currie Rear Track Bar, 4" Currie Springs

Control arms have probably 12k on them. The springs are the springs. Maybe a couple minor scuffs at most but I have never seen any. MAYBE I would see the springs before August.

For Sale: Savvy Adj. CA's, Currie Rear Track Bar, 4" Currie Springs

Hey everyone. I am planning to change up my Jeep's suspension and will be selling various components. I am looking to remove these from the Jeep in August and sell everything then so my rig won't be without legs for very long. All parts fit '97-'06 TJ's and are in great used condition. This is...

...I can't wait to stretch out my TJ

Metalcloak vs. Currie Lift (Long Arm Lifts vs. Short Arm Lifts)

@Jerry Bransford , you are right about shocks, what would you suggest running for a smoother ride on road? @Chris , I am not bad mouthing Currie, Savvy, or anyone. My thoughts are as a vehicle is lifted, it should be done proportionally. When you lift a TJ and reuse the stock frame CA brackets...

    Vibrations after re-gear

Bob - no, the vibes only go away when the rear driveshaft is removed. I am not sure of the length of my rear ds, but it was made for the vehicle and seemed good to go. The rear pinion angle and ds angle are both at 19*

    Vibrations after re-gear

I noticed the vibrations after I had my front axle regeared to 5.13. I had already regeared the rear and had not noticed any issues for the couple months I ran with the mismatched gears (no front driveshaft at the time). Again, shortly after I had the front 5.13's installed, the pulsing...

    Vibrations after re-gear

I have this issue as well - vibes coming from the rear. I removed my Tom Woods rear driveshaft (I have an sye) and had it checked by a shop, they said there is no problem with it. BUT when the rear driveshaft is removed, the vibes are gone. Its an 03 TJ 4.0 auto. I have replaced my tranny...

Metalcloak vs. Currie Lift (Long Arm Lifts vs. Short Arm Lifts)

Thanks. Yes they are Goodyear MTRK's - 35"x12.5". Not looking to separate the CA's but I don't want to threadjack so PM me if you want or look out for them in the classifieds!

Nope, keeping it low as possible is the goal without having to cut

Metalcloak vs. Currie Lift (Long Arm Lifts vs. Short Arm Lifts)

Well it is great to see so many loving the Currie short arm setups. Unfortunately, I will be moving on to long arms in the near future. If anyone is looking to buy my Savvy double adjustable aluminum control arms with Johnny Joints all around let me know! And here's my rig. I am new to this...

Metalcloak vs. Currie Lift (Long Arm Lifts vs. Short Arm Lifts)

Isn't this thread about finding a lift kit with the best on road comfort? If so, then it is clear that the currie kit (or any bolt on short arm) will not provide this simply due to control arm geometry. For some reason, people will overlook this. At a 4" short arm lift (for example), the angle...

Metalcloak vs. Currie Lift (Long Arm Lifts vs. Short Arm Lifts)

This topic is subjective, definitely. However, riding like a cadillac is not, and this setup will not provide a ride like that, plain and simple. Yes, shocks can be changed out and so can springs. But at the end of the day, this kit uses stock control arm mounts, despite the 4" increase in...

Metalcloak vs. Currie Lift (Long Arm Lifts vs. Short Arm Lifts)

Reviving this discussion... If what you are looking for maximum on road comfort, the currie short arm kit is definitely not the answer. Anyone who tells you it is, I would totally disagree with. I run the Currie / Savvy 4" short arm kit with double adjustable aluminum CA's, currie springs...
