I haul my LJ (which fully loaded probably weighs in the 4500lb+ range) on a standard 7k trailer. I tow with an F250 superduty and have no issues. Probably a 10k trailer might be better from a weight perspective (as I'm close to max load limit now), but like anything else, money talks....

Nearing completion on the rig...mounted the tires on the new beadlocks last night (thanks to kev for the heavy lifting). Mounted 'em and now baby's got new shoes! Front gearset completed (D50 gears in the Dana 44 housing, sweet). Still a bunch of wiring and small stuff to finish, but I finally see...

Cut the old rear tire carrier apart and modded it to have lower profile and weight, also to accommodate my 8 lug wheels (had some rube goldberg thing going on before) and lower the tire position (without hopefully sacrificing departure angle) . New front bumper and lights, some front axle...

That was actually my first test, unplug then see if there was power to the connector, unfortunately nada.

Multimeter, no power. Just my poor choice of words.

Still working on my laundry list of items to be repaired on the (well used) '04 LJ I bought last year....one of the smallest (but most annoying) is the windshield washer not working. Looks like no power to the small washer pump when engaging the washer. Haven't tried to trace the wiring back...

And it was wicked bad before.....literally not comfortable to drive....buddy Kev did a bit more than just the rear anti rock, but that had the most impact.

Installed the rear currie this weekend. Had to run it mounted forward of my rear shock towers (welding to frame vs bolt on) as the rear genright tank/armor doesn't allow for the rear mount in stock position. What a difference, handling is like night and day....jeep feels planted now without all...

Good price, just paid a hair over $460 for the rear anti rock....

Can someone take a pic of the temp sensor connector (presumably from the firewall)? I don't have one currently connected, I ordered the temp sensor from Napa, but realize I don't know if the actual connector that the temp sensor plugs into exists on my '04. I see one plug not connected to...

Two hardware stores and Napa (and the jeep dealer) and no luck...must be a bad week for small screws.

Bit the bullet and bought the JW Speaker 8700 Evo J2's. I had these on my JK and thought they were incredible, so I'm expecting them to be equally great on this rig. Now if I could only find replacements for the retaining ring screws I lost at the local hardware store......
