Does anyone know the proper way to test a 2006 TJ 4.0 Auto Camshaft Position Sensor? I have a Check Engine Light (CEL) and code P0340 and I’d like to test the sensor before just tossing it and installing a new one. I cleaned it up before the photo shoot. Thanks!

So it’s about 106 degrees here in the southwest today. 06 TJ running fine. Stop, park and shit off the engine and guess what? Coolant began flying out of the radiator petcock/drain. It appears that I can close it properly, but why would that happen? Lost a lot of coolant. thx in advance Sent...
