headers

I’ve been reading these forums for a decade now, I’m familiar with many of you and have read thousands of posts but I’ve finally decided to make an account. I’ve got a 97 tj sport 4.0 stock, possible 1” lift.. (new engine..jasper😫) the old 4.0 overheated and blew a piston ring and my headers...

So as a young guy who likes to be loud and party I decided it’s a good idea to get an exhaust system. I’ve decided to get me headers, cut the cats off, and then I still have no clue if I want to cherry bomb it and have the tip end off to the side or if I want to get either a muffler/ resonator...

I was wondering if any of you have used the Novak block hugger headers for a TJ Gen lll swap? If so, have they been reliable, leak free and have you been generally happy with them after putting some miles and years on them? So that's the primary question but to expand a bit if you care to read...

Just seeing if anyone has any personal experience or input with this setup. There is also one a little cheaper without the headers. Thanks guys!

has anybody put on headers in the 4.0? if so, what kind.

Are there any decent options out there for headers for a 06 Wrangler TJ? My stock one has a crack in it and if I am replacing it I may as well upgrade. Just looking to see if anyone is running headers and how they like them.
