I was getting a "clunking" sound every time I engaged a gear. My mechanic opened up the rear diff (DANA 35) and this is what it looks like before brake cleaner: After brake cleaner: Clunking sound when moving gears Replace? Overhaul? Thanks, gang.

Hey everyone, I’m new to the Tj world and my 1997 Tj 4.0 has structure cracks on the brackets on the axle. I’m looking to buy a used Dana 35 3:55 ABS axle housing. Another option is potentially having them welded. Any advice? Thanks!
