I have a 1997 Tj 2.5 engine I been having trouble finding the 02 sensor on the cat converter. All the stores are giving me a diferent 02 sensor than the one I took off. I just bought the jeep and I dont know if the previous owner switch the 02 sensor...the number on the sensor is 025007366. Why when I look up this sensor it says it belong to a Nissan quest? Did the previous owner modify it? Its 5 cable six prone plug. Can anybody help. The pics has the sensor

Yea I don't understand, so you it's not the original? Why would they change the original? The owner before me said that it had a turbo and they took it off, could that be why?

IF the previous owner had a turbo on the engine; he probably had a dedicated Air/Fuel management program that required a special O2 sensor which is what you found installed. There are narrow and wide band O2 sensors that are used to trim the fuel curve.
IF the wiring was modified you can probably use the Factory Service Manual wiring schematics in the Forum Resources for your year TJ to resolve the wiring connector problem.

I guess man, I dunno. I'm just going by what the #s on the internet tell me. If there indeed isn't a turbo on there anymore and it's a stock engine, install the NGK part # called out in the thread I linked previously.
