WTB: 03-06 transfer case shifter insert

Just need the plastic piece with the shift pattern on it — though the whole handle would be fine.

Off a 241 from ‘05 — but I think all the later (‘03-‘06) handles should be the same?

In four months I've had about six people tell me they "have one somewhere in the pile" and never responded, and one guy who wanted $40 for just the rubber handle (apologies if you're on this board — but c'mon, $40?...).

The insert or the whole handle? Whole handle would think I could go around $15 + the ride in a padded envelope to 78681. For just the insert — maybe $5 in an envelope?

Dang, I was just by the junkyard the other day. If I make a trip next week I'll pick one up, I think they pulled all the TC out of most of the jeeps. If I remember correctly, the shifters are still in some of them.

So despite the apparent availability status of Unicorn Fart Glitter (have genuinely been trying to find one for six months), there was one in each of the TJs at the parts yard I visited last week. The yard wouldn't even charge me for them.

But based on my experience, the second one is available for $650. Cash. Local pickup only.
