I installed mine a few days ago. It is tight quarters (I did not remove the front drive shaft) and there are no instructions that come with it. The hardest part was getting it adjusted correctly. Everything I read/watched says to place the T-case and shifter in the 2 Hi position, this makes clipping the ball studs on easier, but what I did not see or hear anywhere was how to adjust it. After installing mine it would just barely engage in 4 lo, in fact it would pop out of 4 lo upon deceleration. What I found to work was to start with both ends adjusted to about 3/4 of the way screwed down tight. Have the ball ends threaded all the way on. install the shifter and tighten everything down. Do a test and see if you can engage the T case in all four positions. Keep in mind it should solidly engage each spot (2 hi, 4 hi, neutral, and 4 lo). Chances are it will not engage in one of the two end points (2 hi or 4 lo). On mine I had to lengthen everything so that meant screwing the large nuts all the way on, then the bracket, then the locking nut. After that I was much closer to staying in 4 lo but it still did not feel like a solid engagement. I then unscrewed the ball ends one or tow turns and tried again. That solve my adjustment issue, I then ran the jamb nuts up tight against the ball ends and have been very please with the shifter ever since...... it would be nice is Savvy would include instructions, it would have cut down on the time adjusting by not having to "learn" how to adjust it......
