Simple question for people who have already done this. My 05 LJ auto transmission has the transmission skid attached to the larger skid: 2 bolts on the frame and 2 bolts on the main skid. I have read that I need to support the transmission when I take this off to do the transmission service but it looks like all the support is on the skid behind it that I won't be removing. What am I missing when I drop the transmission skid plate and will I need to support the transmission when it comes off?
