I have a fly in the ointment. After I got my Jeep back from the paint shop and I installed the LED tail lights, I have started to have this issue with the gauges. The 10 amp mini fuse in the underhood fuse box keep blowing. Sometimes it will go for an entire day, other times for several days, sometimes for just a few minutes.

I tried the obvious things... When I spliced in the LED tail lights, I used part of the old tail light wiring so I could plug them in. I pulled all that out and sure enough found some bare spots on the old wiring and so I fixed that and thought I might have found the problem, but the fuse blew again yesterday while out on the trails.

I know diddly squat about electrical wiring, but I guess I need to dig up at wiring diagram and try to track it down with a multi-meter.

I hate problems that I can't solve with a wrench or a hammer. :D

Any advice?
