150K Maintenance Recommendations

I’m coming up on 150K on our 2004 LJ. We bought it in 2016 with 95,000 miles on it. I did quite a bit of work on it then but have painfully realized that was 10 years and 50,000 miles ago. It still runs well and is semi DD running 80 mph up and down the highway.

What should I be thinking about doing for maintenance to get another 50k out of her?

Mine has 156K on it. I just replace broken / worn parts as they occur.

It's not the miles it's the age. Any rubber bits that are original are suspect. Motor and transmission mounts. Crank pulley has a rubber core.

Spark plugs, possibly O2 sensors, change ALL fluids, and inspect and replace rubber bushings as necessary. Like Mac said, it isn't so much the mileage, it's the age.

Also add a second, backup TJ to the collection!
