1997 2.5 wiring harness: What does this wire go to?

Is this a wiring harness from an LS engine? If so, what specific LS is it from? What model of car and what year?

If you can provide more information, it will help us help you greatly

Of course, sorry. Newbie. Wiring harness for a 1997 Wrangler SE 2.5 5spd. The wire dangles on the firewall just to the right of the ecm as your facing the jeep.

No problem! I'm going to tag @TJ4Jim in this. I want to say he replaced his 2.5 at some point (I think it was him), so he might have some insight on this.

That connector (if 2 pole) should be for the underhood light.
