I just put a Golen crate 4.6L Stroker in my ‘97 TJ, so the original 4.0L is for sale.
asking price $500.
155,000 miles.
mfg 4/18/96.
0630 head casting.
The motor ran smoothly in a daily driven Jeep when removed 1 month ago.
Mild lifter tick when cold. No knock and doesn’t burn oil.
Includes exhaust manifold, valve cover, timing chain cover, oil pan and distributor.
Comes in the box I received the Golen crate motor in.
I have an engine stand that I will include if you pay full price.

Pickup only. Located in Roseburg, OR, 97471
Thanks for looking.

How’s the Golen Stroker? I’ve been very interested in everything except the price tag!

Great so far. Just a few miles on it. More torque at low RPM. Revs more freely with more power on top. I’ll be giving some updates in my build thread including dyno comparison to stock motor after I’ve driven it a bit more.

I look forward to that. What’s the title of your build thread?
