So I have an automatic 98 Sahara that I’d like to sell. Engine was replaced 2000 miles ago, transfer case replaced 500 miles ago, radiator, tires new. Odometer reads 92K. White exterior and saddle interior are in great shape. Hardtop and soft top included. Thinking of asking $14k. Right ballpark???

Without plenty of photos, we can't give you a very accurate value.

Particularly photos of the frame and underside as well.

Here are a few shots. More available.

I gave $9200 for my not lifted mostly rust free 98 Sahara last year and all of the tires needed immediate replacing. Yours looks to be in a bit better shape so I’d guess it’s worth a bit more considering the mechanicals have been freshened.

Thanks Edward.

I would start at 14k, but be prepared to take 12k potentially.

Clean title and 6 cylinder, right? The "replaced engine" thing always makes me wonder, what else?
Thanks. Engine either threw a rod, or broke a timing chain — forensics showed both, but might never know which first. Transfer case is also new, but that has been "going" for some time. Of course the transmission is in between, but flushed and serviced with no evidence of damage/metal.

Thanks to all for your comments. Will be posting soon, holding nothing back, and with plenty of pictures. Based on my read of other threads, I might offer to throw in $1000 toward, and arrange for delivery to distant, rusty states.
