On my TJ that is just capped of with a vacuum hose cap (like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000COB5TE/?tag=wranglerorg-20)

It didn't affect the way it ran?, cuz when I hold my finger over it it revs really low like 400rpm

Is yours a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder?
I was wrong, I just went and looked at my TJ but the intake manifold looks totally different on mine.

The mounts broke on that sensor so I added a longer hose and relocated it.

Oh okay, that explains why it looks so different than mine.
@TJ4Jim, @StG58, @Rob5589, @Tristan, @JWjeepSask, @CRGR, @myers3512 all have 4 bangers. One of them will chime in shortly and tell us exactly what's supposed to go there!
I can't reference my 4.0 since it's totally different.

Don't know how much this will help. I ran out and took a picture of mine. But it looks like a vacuum hose.

Not sure if the OP realizes it, but you have to save and upload pictures using the "Upload a File" link below, otherwise all we see is this (unless you open it on an iphone);
See it just fine on phone as well. The front port goes to the valve cover, the back port goes to the vacuum port on the power brake booster.
There should be a total of 3 connections off the manifold in that location, Brake Booster, Valve Cover and Evap Canister.

Thank you guys for the help after further inspection I still cannot find anywhere for this to go to. However I did find a hose that starts around that location and ends disconnected by the transmission. Could it possibly go to there? I didn't see any obvious locations to hook it back up
