Hi All,
We recently swapped out our TJ's 1998 2.5 with a rebuilt one from a '92. Its starting but running pretty rough. I have a suspicion.
We put the distributor from the 1998 in due to the Camshaft Position Sensor connector being different from the '92 to the '98. I suspect the gearing is different from 92-98 and looking for confirmation. Should we have swapped the gear or used the 92 distributor and changed out the CPS wiring? I do know they are different but HOW different are they?
Any thoughts would be really appreciated. Thank you!
