2.5L spark plug replacement: pull the compressor?

It can take a little force sometimes to break it free. What type of socket setup are you using? Make sure that the socket is all the way on the sparkplug.

Edit: Make sure that you are using a proper sparkplug socket as they have a insert in them to hold the plug which cuts down on the chance of breaking it.

Ok , I have the one with the rubber insert. It’s the spark plug in cylinder 1 which is right next to ac compressor. It’s really difficult to reach and make sure it’s all the way on. I’m using pretty good force. The jeep is missing like crazy. I’ve changed every spark plug and wire and distributer cap other than that one. I assume that one spark plug and cause these types of issues.

As others have said also you need a wobble joint or double jointed socket like I'd posted earlier. But yes it does sound like you need to get the plug changed.
