Lets also not forget that driving vehicles that are too rusted is actually incredibly dangerous.

I've read plenty of stories on here about control arms snapping off while driving down the highway due to rotted frames.

Perfect example: The Ranger I brought back to life after sitting in a field for a few years had some questionable rust areas. About a week or so ago, the LR leaf spring bracket broke off the frame because of rust and the same one on the other is next in line so I have to replace both of them.

IF frame is as bad as indicated in the picture; I would hate to see what the transfercase skid plate area and other areas look like.
RUN away from that deal....
