As I have been going through the jeep the list of things to replace is growing. Seats are one of them. I have grandkids and I am not comfortable with putting them in the rear seat right now. Sooo much rust flakes are coming out I am not sure how stable the structure is anymore. Front seats are a little better, but I'd like to replace them too.

I have read that not all TJ seats interchange. Without having the jeep with me how do i know what years will "plug and play" ?? Thinking of visiting a couple few junk yards to see if they have some seats that are in better shape.

Anyone know??

Thanks!!

If you decide to go the conversion route, I have two Hyundai Tiburon seats in great shape that I'd like to get out of my garage.

I have a rear seat from a 2006 Rubicon unlimited with all the hardware and in good condition, if that would help. has a few dog hairs

I will look into that conversion. I know I've seen a thread somewhere on it. Thank you.

There are a few good threads on the conversion. I really liked mine when I did it, but I found the sides of the seat aggravated an old injury, so I went back to the stock seats. Good deal to be had if you decide to do it.

Yes thats a long haul, not sure what the Meet Up is, but I doubt I'll be going. I'm sure you'll get it sorted.
