Jeep is throwing p0700, p01604, and p1613 after resetting codes.
Checked the fluid level and it is good
When accelerating the Jeep will either immediately refuse to shift past 2nd gear or eventually stops shifting past 2nd gear.
I have to shift to Neutral, turn the Jeep off and on while moving at around 40 mph, then shift back to drive and it shifts from 3rd to 4th no problem. Even will shift through after stopping at a red light through all of the gears.
Once I park it for a while and get going the same thing will happen again.
I know the 1604 code points to the TCM, but I also know this year and tranny combo are riddled with pcm issues. Also the transmission was rebuilt less than 12k miles ago last April, 2018.
Any ideas what needs to be done? Could the pcm/tcm connectors be wet and acting up (been raining a lot, was fine before rain).
This sound like the transmission needs to be rebuilt?
