2025 ROTY big brake install and review

It's like the rain water doesn't affect them as much, don't know if anybody else has noticed this or not.

The BMB big brake kit significantly reduced my stopping distances and my confidence in my brakes, which in turn makes it less stressful to drive and increases my confidence in manuevers.

My KM3 tires generally suck in the rain and ice. They tend to hydroplane. I might try a different tire brand next go round or drop my PSI a few more.

Ooph. The compromises in tire design are tough.

I had the original KM on my rubi from 04-09 I think. They were trecherous on snow in CO until it got deep. Not too surprised the KM3 still has those challenges and siping them would likely just cause chunks to tear out more easily. What makes a good modern snow tire with the ability to pack snow into the tread makes a bad mud tire.

The KO, Duratrac and KO3 have all been much better on snow. The KO and KO3 would both be disadvantaged in mud.

By doing one I can possibly avoid doing the other so... My statement stands🤣
