I dug thru some old threads and discovered they didnt make the 2003+ steering shaft anymore, but a member here found a solution.

My brother that runs a shop told me this piece is surrounded by rubber, so getting the old one out, and new one out, and pressing the old lower part into the new steering shaft will be a nightmare

Anyone have any ideas how to make this go smoothly??
He told me it will need to be pressed in , which just sounds like a MFr

Curious if you ever tried this. My attempt was a complete failure, but on the bright side I now have an expensive new pillow block...
