The sticker that goes on my ac control unit is peeling off. I looked all over the internet to find a replacement but all I found was this- https://www.jeeps.net/threads/jeep-wrangler-replacement-overlay-panels-for-ac-unit.4995/ and the eBay listing no longer exists. Any idea how I might either contact him or find a replacement sticker somewhere else? Thanks

You might try Jeep-Air. The decal was one of the things I could not find anywhere else I bought and had one shipped to me. They do show their kit for 97 4.0 as out of stock but they may still have the faceplate available. It was not listed as a stand alone item when I called but they were providing them with their kits so I reached out and it worked out for me.
There is one other thing you could try. It won't work with kjones peeling unit but there are a number of people that did not want A/C and pulled it. I doubt they all changed the controls so you might ask around, someone may have a unit they are willing to swap if yours is clean and working. For kjones if he could source a clean working non A/C somewhere it might be worth a shot. I know there is a local guy that buys up and parts out TJ's fairly regularly and who knows might get lucky and find a A/C unit for a good price.
