I am in need of some advice, I got a 97 wrangler and it did not start when I got it (it was a good deal). It has a 2.5 engine I have done the following replaced the fuel pump mod,all four injectors cleaned the throttle body, TPS, IAC, MAP sensor, replaced the distributor, cam position sensor and installed a new cap, wires and plugs. The jeep will start and run for 2 seconds and die. it does not have a skim system on it and I have 5 volts to the MAP and TPS. It has a new battery, there is no codes. When it is dies there is still spark also the power to the injectors stay hot however the ground drops off in reading (if I understand correctly) the PCM is what controls that. I have bypassed the ASD relay and also the fuel pump relay. I am very frustrated and hoping some one here can help me out. I have downloaded the service manual from this forum and it has been a big help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
