Hi all. I just brought this 99 TJ home and will the upgrade and learning process now. I want to apologize in advance for all the stupid questions I will ask moving forward. It has 140k miles on it. I believe it's a 4" lift with 33" tires. Like new hardtop and clean paint.
Things I know it needs #1 Transfer case drop kit. Never done but doesn't seem to vibrate too much. #2 Since the back end seems to jump side to side on even small bumps, I was thinking I need a new rear track bar...? #3 Sway bars with disconnect? And most likely much more, that is why I am here since I know I will need tons of advice moving forward to get my jeep ready for off-road but more importantly, to ride nice on the road.

Great looking TJ! The backend jumping around a lot is likely due to bad control arm bushings or track bar bushing in the rear (y)

Thank you. Would you recommend a new track bar since the current one is most likely stock? I would guess the control arms are as well. Thanks again!

Assuming the track bar is stock, an adjustable track bar would be ideal since there is clearly that thing is lifted.

If you post photos of the control arms, we can tell you if they are stock or not.

As for rear track bars, this is the one I recommend:

You'll also need the relocation bracket as well:

Thank you. I will take pictures of those shortly and post them here.
