I have a 99 TJ Sport that apparently was a factory soft top. I just purchased a hard top from a 98. I bought the correct oem harness, but I don't have the pigtails for the switches in the dash harness. I need to know if anyone can help me out with the wiring. I read online about a harness that has it all, but nobody has them anymore. I did search and found a few people that have done it, but with very little detail. I was curious if I bought a dash harness with the switch plugs and I swap both the dash and the harness for the hardtop if it will work or if there is a way to just use the hardtop wiring from the one I bought. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Your best bet is to get a FSM (factory service manual) that has the wiring diagrams in it, as you'll need them.

However, I'll wait until someone who may have done this can chime in. Mine came with a hard top, so I'm no help.

Thanks. I have a FSM, but still have more questions than answers currently
