So my 2000 tj came without air conditioning and down here in Florida it’s kind of a big deal for me is their any option other than the 1000$ kits company’s make?

By the time you hobble together parts or a u-pull systems you will ultimately spend a lot more then you initially intended and wind up with a system that has the potential to continually piss you off. Jeep Air sells a quality system for what I consider a fair price (A/C Trade retired) with all the correct accessories and support. You do the math.
