AC comes out floor vents only during acceleration

I have a hill I climb everyday to home. I notice the AC switches from front vents to floor and I think defrost vents when I climb the hill or have moderate engine acceleration. Is that a vacuum leak? If so, anyone have an idea of where to look first?
2003 Sport 4.0, manual trans.
 
Oh ok. Ironically I bought that line recently and it’s sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. That would be great if it were that line and not one buried on the dash. Thanks.
 
Didn’t know they went bad too frequently. I just bought it because someone mentioned it and the part number on this board not too long ago. I figured why not replace it since it’s so old. Now it moves up the list of things to do. Other than the battery tray it looks quick.
 
I did it the first time laying on my back with a mirror. Removing the tray is far easier. I've had my 02 since new and changed the hose the first time in 2011 and then again recently while I had the tray out be painted. Hope this fixes your problem (probably will).
