My AC compressor went last week, basically started the Jeep, turned ac on, smelled something burning/melting by the time I pulled out of the parking lot, so turned around and parked. Smoke pouring out the grill, I traced it down to AC pulley. Dont believe I caught it in time to just replace the clutch. Long story short, Im trying to track down an AC compressor. Is there a brand to stay away from? OE ones are going for a premium. Any recommendations are appreciated.
