Did you think I didn't have 5 or 6 valve body cores in the garage?! I did an emergency valve body pull in my garagae at midnight last night....I now have parts everywhere.... but it didn't solve the problem. That was the last ditch option to get him going with the time he had available, but it wasn't enough. I no longer think it is TV cable either. I don't want to derail this thread, but a shifter slipping into neutral and a trans loosing pressure present in the same way. The adjustment does seem to have resolved his long standing occasional no-crank-in-park problem though.
I will add that the instructions for this process are not all that clear if you don't know that there is a clip in that shifter cable. If it weren't for the pics the ironically named Mr.White posted, I would not have figured it out.
