Advice needed on used Warn winch

Hey guys, I’m going to look at a used Zeon 10s in an hour. I wanted to know what I can do to test it. Unfortunately the controller was lost. Getting it for a deal. Thanks.

You should be able to use a jumper on the controller plug to see if it works. Replacement controllers are readily available.

Without a controller it is a little tricky as there are two circuits that it completes for the winch to operate.

Bought the winch...for $675. Getting a Zeon for 1/2 price after I buy a controller and Hawse works for me.
