Advice on new upper control arms

Well to really rock the boat, I went with Trail Logic Industries. Kind of a new company, but all their tubing was the same dimensions (1.5" x .250 Wall DOM Steel Tubing) as the major manufactures I was looking at. For uppers and lowers shipped it was under $350. Plus I got a little price break for being a first responder (the founder and owner is a Firefighter too). Really going out on a limb here by going with the new kids on the block, but we'll see how it turns out. Granted, their only single adjustable, but when I got a full set of uppers and lowers for less than the cost of double adjustable uppers alone from the other guys it was hard to turn down. We'll see I guess. I ordered them late Saturday night and already got a shipping notification before lunch today. Fingers crossed I don't have to come back with my tail tucked between my legs to you guys, ha ha.

They wear out quickly if you are daily driving, they typically do not have anything to keep out the dirt and dirt wears them out fast. Johnny joints are similar to a heim but dont have the typical wear problems, I perfer the Dual durometer bushings that are becoming popular.

I'll throw in my $0.02 for you guys on them. I don't have a lot of background in the Jeep or TJ realm, so take my input for what it's worth. I do like that Trail Logic's "shop build" is a TJ. Don't know the last time I saw a company that's poster child was 2 generations back. Unless you count places like JCR who have a poster child for nearly every generation of Jeep they sell parts for. They even did a big custom build on a Comanche not too long ago to showcase all their MJ parts.

I'd recommend double adjustable arms. I've got Savvy arms and they are great.

I know this is old but how did those control arms do?

Idk man. I'm just in the market for some decently priced adjustable arms so I can get rid of the dropped transfer case skid the PO put on.

Just spend the money for some good ones so you only have to do it once.

You have a valid point.... it would be more of a project to build and paint them. The jeep is set up good as of now but when I order a DC diveshaft I'm gonna need the adjustables.

Tom Wood drive shafts! He has treated me right in every transaction and I only live a mile from his shop.

Lucky you living so close to the shop. And I've been recommend to him and a local shop Knoxville Driveline.

heim joints, garbage, get something with either Johnny joints or the dual durometer bushings, no poly either and dont do a johnny joint on one side and a bushing on the other, they fail way too fast that way. Been there done that.
