New to this group, but I've read through other posts on this topic. I have a 2000 TJ Sport, 6 cyl, 5 speed manual. I've had the intermittent problem for a couple of years and a smack on the dash above the glove box worked out but not now. When the airbag light is on, the blower fan won't work and that means no cool AC in the 109 degree desert heat. The airbag light is on constantly now. My horn works and no problems with anything else electrical. The key can be pulled out of the ignition no matter what position. The interesting thing is if I wiggle the key in the ignition, there is a clicking/static sound in the panel behind the glove box. I heard that before when the light was on, then a smack on the dash and the light would go off and the fan would work. Anyone have ideas I could try? Thanks in advance for your help.
