I have a 99 tj with a single piece, full console, without subwoofer and with the airbag switch mounted on the front of the console.
I want to switch out for a full two piece console, with subwoofer.
Problem is it only looks like one style will fit/work. Because of the airbag switch placement. I dont know if i can swap out that front coin tray for the airbag switch. On a two piece like below:
Other consoles come with different shaped coin trays. That would not fit the airbag switch.
My question is if i find a console that won't take the airbag switch. Can i just delete it? If so, how?
