Hey gang, it's been a looooong time since I've posted....lot of stuff going on since late '19. Anywho, thought I'd share some updates/additions to my 00. Since I'm keeping with a soft top only at this time, I added a cheapo roof rack — exoskeleton style — to haul some kayaks when we go camping.
Not sure I like the look of it when I'm not hauling 'yaks, and it's too much a pain to take on/off. In early 2019, I did the work to get her hooked up to the motorhome, and now the rack for the 'yaks....one of these days it will get some wheels/tires and lockers....we are heading to the Black Hills SD in early July....will be cruising on some forest trails but nothing a stock TJ can't handle. I do notice the difference with the rack on (and w/o the kayaks)....steering slightly heavier...you can feel the weight.
