Amazon Basics Motor Oil

My Crosstrek is a 2018, great car. The filter location is very convenient. I also added a Fumoto drain valve, and the oil drains directly into my recycle container.

Sorry to bring up old news, but I feel its not a bad reminder on the amazon oil. Would anyone here run the 10w-30 amazon high mileage synthetic in there trans? I tried doing my own research, a bit confused. I always run the mobil 1 synthetic 10w-30. Is "high mileage" just a marketing ploy or is there a additive that will harm an ax5 or ax15?

In the ax5/15 you can run 10w30. But most people here will highly recommend redline MT-90

Yup! I understand this! lol! Not trying to bring up this subject. Just wondering if "high mileage" labeled oil had some sort of additive that would effect brass. Id assume not. Ive never had a issue with standard 10-30 synthetic. I love the fact that I buy 1 type oil to do the engine and trans. Amazon doesnt have a standard 10-30 synthetic, just the high mileage.
