Now that the weather is turning, it’s time for the year down and the project to begin...

First is the floors!
Fronts are junk but the rear is good other than a couple of spots, I’ll just do small patches there.
Ordered floor pans, but they weren’t OEM design and are useless!
Reordered the OEM style and once they come in I’ll weld em up.
Had to patch one small 9” section of the passenger torque box, but overall not bad so far...

Luckily, the frame is solid and only a bit of surface rust... it was taken pretty good care of thankfully!

Well, a wrench in the works!
Goin off of a ton of positive interest in Quadratec for a parts source, I ordered the OEM style pans from them... they showed “in stock” and somewhere read that they came from Pennsylvania, me being in MA it shouldn’t have taken long...
Well... I got tracking for them today and they’re coming from Nevada.
So next Thursday, MAYBE.
Going via eBay or others, for pretty much the same cost, would have had them by Monday....
Oh well, live and learn!
No more Quadratec for me. Too far away!

Quadratec’s main location/warehouse is in PA. I have ordered from them a handful of times and with standard shipping I have never waited more than 2 days. FWIW. You’ll see mixed reviews on them, but I’ve always had success.

So now i get a text saying my part will be here tomorrow...
So I follow up and it seems ONE floor pan is coming from PA and the SECOND one is coming from Nevada and will be here next Friday...
Thankfully there’s plenty to do and all winter to do it!

Ok,
Im almost done with the passenger side of bodywork LOL
got all of the oddball patches done on the rear floor, which was a can of worms... as soon as I thought I had all the rot, more popped up.
Think the seam sealer did more harm to than good!

A couple of small gaps I’ll fill in, but even thought the welds are FUGLY they are strong.
Got my passenger rocker done as well.
Just gotta get the front pan in and I’m done with this side!

So same rot on the rocker as the passenger side, maybe a little more LOL!
Some idiot just bondo’d over it long ago instead of cutting it out... arghhh

I’ll get that done and then on to the passenger middle body mount patch, then some wire wheeling, painting and back together for final interior/exterior color.
Really thinking of lining inside and out with a tintable liner
