And the engine light saga continues

Shine some light on this please.
So a month ago i got the engine light with two codes P0153 and P2098 which i read might be an o2 sensor. I got suggested to change all four which i did and with NGK. Light went off drove it to work today, it's about 60 miles round trip and i get an engine light again code P2096 now, to lean. read up on it and it might be an o2 sensor again. I read on here where Jerry said might be the catalytic converters that might be bad and it's giving o2 sensors faults.

Questions
If it is the catalytic converters that are bad can i drive the TJ with the light on without causing any harm or will that cause a problem on the jeep?
Hopefully i can drive it until i get funds to replace it. here in California starting price for an approved one is about $700
Or should i yet buy another o2 sensor pertating to that code amd change it in hopes it goes away?

Also could a manifold leak be a cuase as well?
I have attached some audio video with sound of my motor in idle and in drive. Does it sound normal?

I think I hear a manifold leak and yes that can cause a lean condition if the leak is at the intake manifold.

Installing the correct O2 sensors should remove the 0153 code.

If you have around 100k the precats could be shot. If so you will see increasingly poor performance even with new 02 sensors.
I would be consider installing a new manifold gasket. Also check the manifold to exhaust pipe connection for a leak.

That's what i thought i was hearing a manifold leak. I will try to narrow it down and find it. TJ has 135k on it,
Can it be driven like this for now? Or would it cause damage?

I don't think it will cause any damage but when i drove my 4.0 with a bad precat, performance was awful and was not a pleasure to drive..
New precats fixed it. I got the Evan Fischer , $300, and bolted right up, problem solved.

Ok that was my worry causing damage if i drove it. $300 I saw that but unfortunately i live in California and for an approved one cheapest was $700

I had the same error code, it started out intermittent but got more frequent, was coming on every couple days and I don't drive that far for work.

Try running Cataclean through it. It cleared the code on mine and hasn't come back for a couple months. It also gained a lot of power and is running better.

Ok just searched it, so you just add that in your fuel? And run it normal? Does yours sound like mine? I think mine has a crack or something it doesn't sound normal. I'm foing to check it once the rain Stops

Theres a process to it. You run your fuel down to about 1/8 and then pour it in. Then you drive around for about 10-15 miles before filling up. The bottle has the directions in it.

From what I remember, mine sounded similar to that, but it's hard to tell since it's been a few months and I'm constantly chasing noises on this thing.

It won't help if you have a crack, but doesn't hurt.

Ok got cha! Will definitely look into this and see if i got a crack/leak somewhere, but curious why am i not getting an exhaust leak code if there's a crack in the manifold... Just wondering
