Ok, I picked up a cheap XJ 30 that was incomplete, there are no outers or carrier with this unit, it was cheap at $20. So I have a CJ dana 30 that I was thinking that I cold cut the C's off of so I could swap the CJ knuckles on to the XJ 30. I read the Bill Vista Article over on Pirate, what I did not find is if it changed the WMS by doing that swap. I also have an old lock rite in it and it as a 3.54 and down carrier. Do they make a gear set that I can use with that carrier in the HP 30?
I was up at 3 am last night trying to measure that CJ out in the back field..Does anyone know if the WMS gets narrower with the CJ stuff welded on? The CJ is a junker that hit a bridge on black ice, I was just hoping that I can cannibalize part off of it to make something useful with the XJ 30.
