Another dreaded drum brake issue

There is a rubber hose from the frame mounted hard line to the axle.

Ah yeah, forgot about that one. Could definitely be a possible culprit then.

I bought all new,,,everything, springs, brake hubs, wheel cylinders, shoes, star adjusters, adjuster cables and springs so my plan is to remove everything, inspect the back plate and smooth-out if necessary, lubricate the back plates with moly grease, replace all components and bleed the system. Just not sure what the PO did, just got the jeep in July so, might as well start out fresh. If I missed anything, let me know.

I haven't used the ebrake in a month jut to eliminate any issues with the cabling

well, after changing everything, brakes, springs, drums and wheel cylinders, drove 30 miles and the drum temp was 104, so seems to solve my problem, will adjust brakes or a 150-190 temp and call it done
