This is found sitting on top of the skid plate for the transfer case on the driver side of a 2002 Wrangler SE. Anybody have thoughts of where it might have come from I can't find any open holes that it would go in.
Any idea where this bolt came from?

Looks like one of four 7/16-14 x 1.125” bolts that attach the transmission case to the transmission mount. Is there some kind of sleeve under the head or some kind of weird shank on it?

'72 Buick? Might not be from your Jeep.
When I pulled my gas tank I found weird stuff in the skid, like 16d nails which I'm pretty sure weren't installed on the Jeep from the factory.
