Noticed the wiring going into fuel injectors the insulation is cracking and chipping... i do currently have a p0300 fault ...any recommendations on wiring replacement?

I'd see if I could find a used wiring harness, or just repair the wiring yourself, which isn't hard.
The injector connectors are just standard EV6 connections (I believe that might've changed in 04, but your 01 is EV6). If you have enough wire left to splice connectors in, it should be an easy job. I'd just use some butt connectors and some heat shrink to be honest.
