Any thoughts on this bumper?

It looks heavy and Chinese.

That being said, that’s a very common bumper. Re-branded as everything from Smittybilt, to EAG, to Barricade.

It will get the job done if you don’t care about excess weight and cheap paint.

It's a generic Chinesium bumper. 🥱

I'd rather keep the OEM bumper and chop it.
Never go out of style
I think I’m just going to cut and use my OE bumper thanks everyone!

Spend the money on a Savvy body lift instead.

Stock can look good too with the right end caps IMO.
This is what I had before I bought the Motobilts.
These rubber end caps run around $50 each/$100 a set, but are no longer available and look great on stock bumpers.
If you want them and pay shipping I'll let you have them for $100 in like new condition.
I even have the bumper front pads too I'll throw in free! ($100 a pair normally).
Just give me a shout if interested.

They are nice looking end caps! I prefer the original bumpers over the OP,s choice. :)

That cheap coating will rust faster than you can say "China". Nobody said Savvy or Currie is the only option @Bionic_Scorpion . There are plenty of better inexpensive options.
Will it rust as fast as the TJ frame? Maybe as fast as the TJ fenders? Perhaps it'll rust as fast as the TJ windshield frame? You know, all those well known spots that are prone to rusting on a TJ that was made in America. Then again sometimes parts last longer the better they're taken care of. I mean, I don't have any rust on my TJ and that includes the front and rear bumpers that just so happen to be Chinese made.

Had one on from to PO until last week, it was heavy and I didn't like the look. Mine was rusting super quick. That being said it's your Jeep and build it as you like but imo you'd be better saving money for now. Also since a lot of people have them they go up for sale a lot and you could probably find that model or similar on FBMP or craigslist for cheaper if you wanted.

I don't like the look or function - but it's your jeep, so do what you want with it. I'd chop down the stock bumper and save the money if it were me.
