I am having another issue with my lights. Running/Parking lamp not lit. Turn signal indicator stays lit for a few minutes and goes in and out. It's the left side and I cleaned the ground by the headlight but it didn't fix it. Swapped bulbs etc and same result.

I am certain this is a ground issue. Anybody have a list of locations where grounds are?

I think you'll find the info in the FSM which you can find on the forum.

Why are you convinced it is a ground issue? Have you checked to see if you are getting power to the light fixtures?

On my '98: Ground at the filler neck; ground on the frame from the block near the coil; ground on the hood from the rear of the engine block. Multiple grounds within the wiring loom, ground on the firewall from the engine block.

Just because this was the problem two other times. I am not experienced in electrical.

I have tested the wire using one of the pointy light up testers and it's clearly not getting power. When I compared to the side that works obviously.

Remove the plastic clam shells that surround the steering column (2 philips screws) and inspect the Multi Function Switch, wiring and harness connectors for oxidation or signs of overheating.
There are numerous copper contacts inside the MFS that can develop oxidation which can be cured by Deoxit D5 that can be purchased online.
Disconnect the harness connectors, remove the MFS and spray the Deoxit into the contacts, cycle the function switches multiple times and allow to air out for several minutes, reconnect the harnesses to the MFS and test functions.
This has worked for me on numerous electrical connections.

I’m closing this thread since we already have one of them. Thanks guys!
