You should be able to get the diameter and length needed by measuring the clevis rod end. Make sure that you pay attention to the "usable length" measurement and not just the overall length. Usable length is from under head to cotter pin hole. (You probably know this already)
I'd guess it at 5/16" but you need to be sure.

For the 231 I'm assuming since there isn't a clevis on the 241? It should be 1/4" but I can verify in a few minutes. The hole in the shift lever should point you in the right direction.
