I'd hope you'd be smart enough to use a strap on the ramp to hold it against the truck? But who knows maybe not?
I am but it's still a pain in the ass and so easy for something to go wrong.
My hitch carrier works great and still allows me to use the bed for gear.
Tried this. Now I'm fat and horney.

I remember at the bars I used to frequent, 50 cent PBR cans night brought out the rockabilly crowd. We'd be entertained with looking at all the jalopies in the parking lot.
I use to buy a 18 pack or PBR and then a case of Bud but put the Bud on the bottom of my cooler and the PBR on top. Then when on camping/wheeling trips when someone would come bumming a beer I'd say sure help yourself. They'd open the cooler and see the PBR and say thanks but no thanks....
Hehehe, I actually grew to like the taste of PBR over time.
