Even among women. There were 5 or 6 of us sitting outside the "Baby Bellies" dance class as we all had kids in it. Excepting me, EVER. SINGLE. PERSON. had a fucking smartphone in their hand. One or two had them out only part of the time, everyone else had their nose balls deep into the thing. I find this both alarming and disgusting.
This whole phenomenon just crept up on me, I wasn't even really aware of smartphones until sometime in 2016 when they came to my attention quite rudely. At that time, I thought the whole thing was ridiculous - now I think its downright evil. As Gandalf said about the One Ring: ".... I knew at last that something dark and deadly was at work.”
Women have to have something to keep the recipes and chore list on.
